- Since 1991 CLAAS is continuously active on the Russian market
- CLAAS was the first western OEM to open an assembly plant in Krasnodar in the year 2005
- Several thousand combines and tractors were completed so far in the Russian site
- CLAAS activities in Russia support the targets of the Russian government to improve the global competitiveness of Russian farmers in order to ensure the national food supply as well as the increase of the export of agricultural goods
- CLAAS is going to further enlarge it’s Russian entity
- CLAAS follows a balanced „Make or Buy“ strategy for it’s Russian site involving local suppliers as well as western partners
